BJJ Ground Chess is dedicated to helping practitioners learn and master Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu through high-quality educational content. Our Signature Library marketplace allows experienced coaches and practitioners to share their knowledge while maintaining the highest standards of safety and authenticity.
Content Standards for Library Creators
✅ What We Expect
- Accurate Technique Instruction: All techniques must be legitimate BJJ moves taught at reputable academies and seen in high-level competition.
- Safety First: Include appropriate warnings for techniques with injury risk. Never demonstrate techniques in a way that could cause harm.
- Original Content: Only upload content you have created or have explicit permission to distribute.
- Honest Representation: Accurately represent your credentials, belt rank, and experience level.
- Quality Standards: Provide clear descriptions, proper categorization, and helpful tags for your libraries.
🚫 Prohibited Content
- Dangerous or Illegal Techniques: No techniques designed to cause permanent injury outside of legitimate sport application.
- Copyrighted Material: Do not upload techniques from DVDs, paid courses, or other creators without permission.
- Misleading Claims: No fake credentials, fabricated competition records, or misleading technique descriptions.
- Hate Speech or Harassment: No content that targets individuals or groups based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics.
- Spam or Scams: No deceptive pricing, fake libraries, or attempts to defraud users.
- Inappropriate Content: No sexual content, excessive violence unrelated to legitimate technique instruction, or other adult material.
For All Community Members
Respectful Interaction
When reviewing libraries or interacting with creators:
- Provide constructive feedback focused on technique quality
- Respect different styles and approaches to BJJ
- Report concerns through official channels rather than public attacks
- Remember that everyone is at different points in their BJJ journey
Reporting Violations
If you encounter content that violates these guidelines:
- Click the "⚠️ Report Content" link on the library card
- Select the appropriate reason for your report
- Provide any additional details that may help our review
- Our team will review the report within 24 hours
Enforcement
We take guideline violations seriously to protect our community. Consequences for violations may include:
- Content Removal: Libraries that violate guidelines will be delisted from the marketplace.
- Account Warning: First-time or minor violations may result in a warning.
- Temporary Suspension: Repeated violations may result in temporary loss of upload privileges.
- Permanent Ban: Severe or repeated violations may result in permanent account termination.
- Refunds: Affected purchasers may receive refunds for removed content.
All enforcement decisions are made at our discretion and are final. We reserve the right to remove any content or user that we believe harms our community.
Updates to These Guidelines
We may update these guidelines from time to time. Significant changes will be announced via email to registered users. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the current guidelines.
